The West Virginia Theatre Association (WVTA) is a non-profit organization that strives to support theatre artists in the state of West Virginia in order to strengthen the industry and help engage West Virginians in the art, practice, and enjoyment of live theatre.
The WVTA Board of Directors is comprise of volunteers from around the state. The board is comprised of a president, treasurer, secretary, high school representative, community theatre representatives, and a past president.
The 2023 Winter festival will be held on November 30-December 2 on the campus of Concord University. The festival will feature a two day, high school festival with one-act performances, tech project reviews, unified scholarship auditions, and great workshops. On December 2, WVTA will host a community theatre professional development day

The festival will feature a two day, high school festival with one-act performances, tech project reviews, unified scholarship auditions, and great workshops. On December 2, WVTA will host a community theatre professional development day that will include workshops and a networking/brainstorming meeting to help WVTA serve the community Theatres in the state of WV.
